Everest Ravintola website

Everest has served Kathmandu family recipes in Helsinki since 1997. 28 years of loyal customers — and a website that couldn't keep up. Slow, English-only, impossible to update.

How we built it

01

Static-first menu

The menu lives as TypeScript data. Updates are a git commit — no CMS, no monthly fees, no waiting.

02

Custom bilingual

Every string has FI and EN variants. Instant toggle, no page reload, no third-party i18n library.

03

Booking + fallback

Form posts to a server action that emails the restaurant. Phone number is always one tap away.

“The site looks like our food tastes — warm, real, and made with care. And we can finally update the menu ourselves.”
